Significant law enforcement operations continue to gather evidence about and arrest persons involved in the August 7, 1998 bombings of the U.S. Embassies. On August 28, 1998, Mohammed Saddiq Odeh, the second suspect charged with the bombings at the U.S. Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, after surrender by Kenya, was arraigned in the U.S. District Court in New York, where an indictment against him was unsealed.
