Abstract:
In response to requests from the American Immigration Lawyers Association to desist from violating the attorney-client privilege in its labor investigations of potential fraud, the Department of Justice announced on July 29, 1986, and issued a cable to the field regarding a set of comprehensive new policy guidelines relating to the interview of individuals represented by attorneys.
