Abstract:
The Jamaican Government has placed four aerodromes in Jamaica under the control of the Army in the latest move to crack down on the island's multi-million dollar drug trade, it was announced by authorities. The Tinson Penn field in Kingston; Bascobel in the northern parish of St. Mary; Ken Jones in Portland; northeast Jamaica, and Negril in the west are now designated military aerodromes and are under the command of the Jamaica Defense Force, according to the Ministry of Public Utilities and Transport.
