Abstract:
On April 9, 2017, Italian law enforcement, acting on an INTERPOL Red Notice, located and arrested Tomás Jesús Yárrington Ruvalcaba, former governor of Tamaulipas, Mexico, on an arrest warrant from the Second District of the Federal Criminal Court in Tamaulipas, for organized crime offenses and money laundering, among other things. The Mexican government is coordinating his return to Mexico.
