Abstract:
According to a recent report, Ralph Thomas, former managing director of Barclay Trust, will prepare a law to regulate trustees and corporate administrators. Once draft legislation is prepared, which is expected to take approximately three months and be ready sometime in the first part of 1993, the Financial Services Commission is then likely to recruit a person of suitable qualifications and experience to develop the regulatory mechanisms contained in the new law, to consult with the marketplace and revise the legislation and regulations supplementing the legislation…[more]
