Abstract: 

On May 22, 2013, two major international organizations took an important step forward in fighting wildlife crime, as INTERPOL and the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to establish a formal framework for cooperation between the two organizations.[2]
