On November 22, 2000, the U.S. Department of Justice announced that wide-ranging multi-governmental cooperation had helped dismantle a MDMA (ecstasy) ring, including the arrest of the leaders. On November 22, 2000, Dutch law enforcement authorities arrested seven co-conspirators, whom they had tracked for 15 months… The 18 month investigation targeted a multi-ethnic, transnational MDMA and cocaine distribution organization.
