On July 11, 1991, the Honourable Kim Campbell, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada and Member of Parliament for Vancouver Centre, announced that the International Centre for Criminal Law Reform and Criminal Justice Policy at Simon Fraser University and the University of British Columbia will be affiliated to the United Nations.
