Abstract:
On March 9, 2001, Alistain Boulton, counsel for fugitive Chinese businessman Lai Changxing and his wife, Tsang Mingna, announced that the Canadian Immigration authorities had allowed their release under a house arrest scheme.
The couple had been detained since November 23, 2000.
