Abstract:
On April 3, 2014, the German government extradited Romano Pisciotti, an Italian national, to the United States on a charge of participating in a conspiracy to suppress and eliminate competition by rigging bids, fixing prices, and allocating market shares for sales of marine hose sold in the U.S. and elsewhere. The extradition constitutes the first successfully litigated extradition on an antitrust charge.[1]
