Abstract:
On June 24, 2015, the U.S. Department of Justice announced the unsealing of an indictment in U.S. District Court in Brooklyn, New York, charging Ercan Findikoglu, a Turkish citizen also known as “Segate,” with organizing three worldwide cyberattacks that caused $55 million in losses on the global financial system. The German government arrested and extradited Findikoglu to the U.S.
