Abstract: 
On February 14, 1994, the German police announced their arrest of Dusko Tadic, a 38-year-old Serb who is alleged to have committed war crimes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and their intent to prosecute him in Germany with "participation in genocide, murder and serious assault. The arrest of Tadic constitutes the first Balkan war crimes suspect who has been arrested outside the war zone. If he is tried in Germany, the trial would be the first opportunity to try war crimes outside of Bosnia?[more]
