Abstract:
The Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations continues its watchdog role over enforcement of the Bank Secrecy Act.  On October 29, 1985, the Permanent Subcommittee held a status hearing on current efforts to enforce the BSA.  Senator Roth, Chairman of the Subcommittee, held the hearing to obtain an interim report from the General Accounting Office (GAO) on the efforts of the Administration to enforce the Act.
