Abstract:

The Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations and the Committee on Governmental Affairs held a hearing on June 12, 1986 regarding the implementation of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA). William Anderson, Director for the General Government Division of the U.S. General Accounting Office (hereinafter "GAO") and Francis Keating, Assistant Secretary for Enforcement of the U.S. Treasury Department, both testified.
