Abstract:

On January 5, 2012, U.S. District Judge Beryl A. Howell dismissed the lawsuit of former State Department official, Sabrina de Sousa, who sued U.S. government agencies for their failure to assert diplomatic or consular immunity on her behalf in the Italian courts and by permitting defamatory information about her to spread unchecked.[1]
