Abstract:
On October 8, 2015, FIFA announced that, in accordance with its Code of Ethics, it has suspended Joseph S. Blatter from his duties as FIFA President following the decision of the Adjudicatory Chamber of the Independent Ethics Committee to provisionally ban him from all football activities on a national and international level. Almost simultaneously, FIFA suspended two other executives, Jérôme Valcke and Michel Platini, and disciplined the former FIFA executive Chung Moon-joon.
