Abstract:
The European Parliament demonstrated an unknown assertiveness when its Committee on Budgetary Control decided on February 26, 1986 not to accept the EC Commission's investigative report on subsidies fraud.  The Committee requested that a special task force be established to examine fraud that mostly is related to the EC's Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
