Abstract:
The European Parliament adopted a resolution on the ratification of the Rome Treaty to establish the International Criminal Court on 17 January 2000. In congratulating the 27 States that have already ratified the treaty, including eight EU Member States (Italy, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, Germany, Austria, and Finland), the Resolution reads as follows:
