Abstract: 
In March 2016, the European Parliament (EP)released its report on the cost of non-Europe in the area of organized crime and corruption. On September 7, 2015, the Coordinators of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) requested the Directorate-General for Parliamentary Research Services (EPRS) to prepare a “Cost of Non Europe Report” on the subject of organized crime and corruption to support work on the own-initiative report on “the fight against corruption and follow up of the CRIM committee1 resolution”, 2015/2110(INI).
