Abstract: 
On October 11-13, 1993, the Committee on Civil Liberties and Internal Affairs of the European Parliament debated drug legalization and a draft report by Marco Taradash, but in the end decided to defer action pending a draft motion for resolution and further discussion in the Committee. The initial reaction in the committee, except for Dorothee Piermont (G, RBW), was hostile.
