Abstract: 

At its meeting on October 23, 2013, the European Parliament (EP) adopted a new resolution on organized crime, corruption and money laundering.[2] This resolution is intended to provide political direction with regard to future legislation of the European Commission and the Member States. This is not the first time that the EP has taken up the problem of organized crime.[3]
