Abstract:
This article is the third in a series, following a bibliographic and analytical survey of the EU?s anti-drug strategies after the Maastricht Treaty. This article examines the role of the European Court of Justice in the area of anti-drug strategies looking particularly at the Court?s position with the institutional framework of the European Union. It then looks at two areas of decisions which the Court lays down anti-drug matters, one relating to tax and customs duty issues, the other to the free movement of persons?[more]
