On September 9, 2015, the European Commission, represented by Ms. Paraskevi Michou, Acting Director-General for DG Justice, and the United States, represented by Mr. Bruce Swartz, Deputy Assistant Attorney General, initialed the so-called “Umbrella Agreement”.
