EU Undertakes Joint Customs Operations Against Counterfeit Goods

On May 17-27, 2005, the European Union conducted joint customs operations to intercept and retain the consignments of counterfeit goods. From May 28 to June 30, 2005, it organized a post-operational phase with a view to performing physical checks and internal search of containers selected during the operational phase.
