Abstract:
On August 15, 1997, the Council of the European Commission adopted an action plan to combat organized crime. The Action Plan results from decisions taken by the European Council at its meeting in Dublin on December 13-14, 1996, when it created a High Level Group to prepare a comprehensive Action Plan containing specific recommendations, including realistic timetables for carrying out the work.
