Abstract:
To remedy difficulties in the enforcement of the European Community’s common fisheries policy, an EC report of the European Commission published on March 16 on the surveillance of the EC’s CFP proposes to strengthen the authority of EC inspectors, the increase in punishments for overfishing and other violations of the CFP.
