Abstract:
On April 19, 2017, the East Caribbean Supreme Court, in a decision rendered by Justice Darshan Ramdhani, denied an application for judicial review by Leroy King, the former head of the Financial Services Regulatory Commission (FSRC) in Antigua and Barbuda, against the 2012 decision of the government approving his extradition to the United States to stand trial for facilitating the multi-billion dollar Ponzi scheme of convicted former businessman Allen Stanford.
