Abstract:
A video entitled "Dirty Money: A Banker's Guide to Self-Defense," and an accompanying guide "The Bank Manager's Guide" has been released by CGM Group, Inc. The video and guide are designed to enable management of financial institutions to defend themselves against the increasing number of criminal prosecutions for violations of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA). The video describes how narcotics traffickers and other criminals launder money, and particularly how lack of effective training and management by financial institutions facilitates the accomplishment by money launderers of their objectives.
