Council of Europe Adopts Resolution on the Connection between Organized Crime and Migrant Smuggling

At its 5th sitting held on January 27, 2016, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) adopted a Resolution on various activities of organized crime groups in the area of migration, most notably migrant smuggling. The debate and resolution were based on a Report prepared by the Committee on Migration, Refugees and Displaced Persons.
