Abstract:
In April 1994 the Royal Canadian Mounted Police combined its drug, enterprise, and customs and excise units into a new Proceeds of Crime Section. The Superintendent of the Economic Crime Directorate will oversee the new section. The purpose of the new section is to consolidate the three units that specialize in money laundering investigations and prosecutions.
