BSA Rules Released

      The Department of Treasury has published notice of a revised system of records on October 11, 1985 (50 F.R. 41616).  The Notice affects three Bank Secrecy Act forms: Currency and Monetary Instruments Report (Form 4790); Currency Transaction Report (Form 4789); and Foreign Bank Account Report (Form 90.22-1).  The existing system of records maintained by Customs Services, the "Bank Secrecy Act Reports File", which includes information reported on each of the above-mentioned three forms, is being expanded to include data reported on Form 8632 or, when authorized, equivalent state reporting forms.  The proposed system will become effective on or before December 10,1985, unless the Treasury advises otherwise before then.
