Abstract: 

On December 17, 2013, the Jamaican and British governments signed an agreement, whereby the British government will provide J$48 million (one Jamaica Dollar = USD $0.01) for an 18-month project to assist in improving the capacity of the Deportee Monitoring Unit (DPU) in Jamaica, which is in charge of monitoring and management of criminal deportees.[1]
