Abstract: 

On April 2, 2001, at a hearing before Magistrate Judge Viktor V. Pohorelsky in federal court in Brooklyn, New York, Pavel P. Borodin agreed to abandon his opposition to extradition by the U.S. to Switzerland and opened the way for his turn over.
Swiss prosecutors have charged that Mr. Borodin, when he served as Russian property czar during the Yeltsin Administration, appropriated more than $25 million in bribes from Swiss companies in the restoration of the Kremlin, the Parliament and other government buildingsā€¦[more]
