Abstract: 
On January 9, 2005, Franciska Egil, 31, a Swiss national, arrived in Switzerland after Barbados transferred her pursuant to a prisoner transfer agreement signed on February 23, 2004. Ms. Egil served seven years of her ten-year sentence at Glendairy Prison in Barbados. She was convicted of drug offenses after she was found with 860 grams of cocaine. Her return to Switzerland took 12 hours as her plane went through Manchester, England. Upon her arrival in Switzerland, Swiss police offices escorted the former commercial secretary to a prison in the Canton of Lucerne.
