Abstract:
On August 5, 1987, Congressmen Sam Gibbons (D-Fla.) and J.J. Pickle (D-Texas) announced that they are introducing legislation to expand the duty-free treatment of exports from the region while extending the effective date of the program past the current September 30, 1995 expiration date.
