Abstract:
The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) has adopted a resolution which supports the attorney-client privilege, the confidentiality of attorneys' work product, and facilitating access to legal counsel. The AILA resolution also opposes governmental action that needlessly chills the attorney-client relation, infringes confidentiality of an attorney's work product, or inhibits a client from providing counsel with facts relevant to counsel's legal review or representation of client's interest.
