During a preparatory colloquium held May 13-17, 1998 in Utrecht, Holland, the Fourth Section of the International Penal Law Association (IPLA also known as AIDP) adopted a draft resolution on “the transformations of international criminal law as a response to the challenge of organized crime.” The draft resolution and general report, along with those of the other three sections in the fields of general criminal law (Section I), special criminal law (Section II), and criminal procedure (Section III), will be considered during the XVIth International Congress on Penal Law that will occur in Budapest in 1999 under the auspices of the AIDP...
