Abstract:
Tense relationships between the African Union and the International Criminal Court (ICC) seem to continue.[2] At the 15th Extraordinary session of the Summit of the African Union (AU), held October 11-12, 2013 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the AU Assembly of Heads of States and Governments discussed Africa’s relationship with the ICC – specifically in the context of the planned commencement of the trial of Kenya’s head of state and his deputy.
