Abstract: 
On July 25, 1987, in the case of Attorney General of the United States v. Irish People, Inc. the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia handed down a decision in an enforcement action brought by the Attorney General seeking an injunction to compel registration as an agent of a foreign principal pursuant to the Foreign Agents Restriction Act of 1938 (FARA).
