Abstract:
On September 17, 2026, the European Parliament adopted its resolution on narco-trafficking in Europe’s waters. As criminal drug trafficking networks become more interconnected, organized and aggressive, Members of European Parliament (MEPs) are asking for a comprehensive, coordinated European Union (EU)-wide response in a resolution adopted on Thursday with 601 votes in favor, 4 against and 5 abstentions.
