Abstract:

On October 29, 2024, the German Government condemned “in the strongest possible terms” the execution of Jamshid Sharmahd, the German Iranian software developer and dissenter. [1]

The German Foreign Ministry wrote on the social network X that the German Government summoned Iran’s chargé d’affaires in Berlin to hear “our sharp protest” against the execution and said Germany reserves the right to pursue “further measures.”[2]
