Abstract:
This book aims to help and inform businesses and their professional advisers on the current state of anti-bribery initiatives primarily in the United Kingdom . The U.K. Bribery Act and its provisions help to develop an ethical business and grapple with the challenges of discovering that misconduct has occurred. The book examines these policy issues. The book, in addition to considering the U.K. Bribery Act, considers its place in the context of international responses to bribery and corruption. The author, Monty Raphael QC, special counsel, Peters & Peters, London, has had a long and distinguished career in international white collar crime.
