Abstract: 
On November 9, 2016, at the Interpol General Assembly (G.A.) meeting in Bali, Indonesia, INTERPOL adopted a resolution on new measures to strengthen the integrity of INTERPOL’s information mechanisms, including for Red Notices and diffusions, and elected Meng Hongwei, the Vice Public Security Minister of China, as the first Chinese President of INTERPOL.
