Abstract:
On April 18, 1989, in the Second Circuit case of Securities and Exchange Commission v. Stephen Sui-Kuan Wang et al, the British Government has filed an amicus brief, protesting the District Court’s extraterritorial assertions of jurisdiction adversely affecting the interests of the British Government.  The case arises out of the SEC’s enforcement action taken in a celebrated insider trading case.
