Abstract: 
The United States District Court for the Southern District of New York ruled on June 29, 1988 that the United States Government did not have legal authority to close the Palestine Liberation Organization Mission to the United Nations.  The controversy started with the passage of the Anti-Terrorism Act of 1987.
