Abstract:
During the last year developments in the adjective assistance have progressed well, especially compred to the controversies that had raged in the mid-1980's. Enforcement in combatting illicit narcotics trafficking has been satisfactory and is succeding in dramatically slowing the use of the Bahamas as a transit country for drug shipments to the U.S. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration has increased the number of agents in the Bahamas to twelve.
