Abstract:

On November 18, 2014, the Standing Committee, acting on behalf of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), adopted resolution and recommendation on measures to prevent abusive use of the Convention on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons (ETS No. 112)(the Convention). Both documents as well as the debate were based on a report prepared and submitted by the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights.
