Abstract:
On May 6, 1991, the U.S. and Uruguway signed a Treaty on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters (MLAT). The MLAT constitutes the second MLAT that the U.S. has concluded in the last month with a country for which money laundering is a significant factor.
