On October 29, 1992, President Bush signed into law the long awaited reauthorization of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. The reauthorization law, called the “Futures Trading Pratices Act of 1992” among its many important provisions, enhances the CFTC’s international enforcement arsenal.
