Abstract:
On April 2, 2008, the French Court of Appeal of Chambery approved the extradition of Claver Kamanya, a Rwandan businessman, to Rwanda where he is charged for his alleged role in the 1994 genocide. Kamanya was born in 1936 and has lived in France since 1998. He had applied for political asylum in France. The French police arrested Kamanya on February 26, 2008, in Annecy, France.
